InfoComm 2016 Must See: Solstice by Mersive

Published: 2016-06-02

Mersive will showcase its new Solstice wireless display solution and feature deployment use-case discussions at booth #N1227 at this year’s InfoComm show.

Rob Balgley, CEO of Mersive, took the time to talk to CI about what the company has planned for integrators visiting its booth at InfoComm 2016, June 8-10 in Las Vegas.

If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2016 booth, what should it be?

In contrast to traditional single- and limited-source presentations, Solstice by Mersive allows any amount of information to be shared in an ad-hoc manner from any source in a meeting, including content in the cloud, data from a local network drive, and media saved on a user device.

FEATURED REPORT

By enabling information and ideas to flow freely, Solstice improves participant engagement, more informed decision-making, and higher-fidelity meeting results –cumulatively leading to real, substantial productivity gains in the workplace.

Ok….What if we have time to see one more thing?

In addition to demoing the latest product developments, Mersive is also featuring deployment and use-case discussions in our booth this year featuring some of our top customers and partners. These discussions are designed to take a deeper look at how Solstice is deployed and used in the real world.

The first discussion will feature Christopher Johnson, CTO at top AV integrator, Diversified, speaking about the content-based collaboration product category as well as the state of the market from an integrators view.

Our second discussion will feature the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania’s Senior Director of Learning Technology’s David Siedell to shed light on the role of content-based collaboration in the higher education setting and the deployment of Solstice at the Wharton school.

What’s one last impression you’d like us to take away from your InfoComm 2016 booth?

Meeting culture is changing rapidly. Open floor plans and huddle rooms are replacing cubicles and conference rooms, and scheduled meetings have evolved into ad-hoc sessions. Driven by the need for increased productivity and the influx of a new generation of workers, improved collaboration has become the new holy grail. So how do we make better decisions in less time?

With Solstice, content-based collaboration is finally on equal footing with audio and video collaboration because Solstice neither limits the number of participants nor the amount of content – removing the final technological barriers from the way we naturally want to collaborate.
