Proxima Displays Releases WUXGA Laser Phosphor Projector

Proxima Displays has introduced its LP7000U Laser Phosphor DLP High Resolution WUXGA Projector. The LP7000U is the first in a series of planned Laser Phosphor models to be introduced this year from the company.

The LP7000U features a brightness level of 7,000 lumens, and WUXGA 1920×1200 resolution with single chip DLP display technology.

“We are excited to introduce such a high technology Laser Phosphor model to meet the needs and demands of our integration partners,” says Sam Malik, president of Proxima Displays, Inc. in the press release.

Key features include 3D capability and full I/O connectivity including VGA, HDMI, DVI/Display port, 3D Control, and RJ45 inputs. The LP7000U ships with the standard lens, and offers 3 additional lens options, from rear projection through tele-photo lens capability.

The Laser Phosphor light engine is unique as it incorporates ACS technology (Accurate Color System) which allows the LP7000U to display completely accurate colors matchings the PC or MAC image to the image displayed on screen.

The LP7000U is built to last, with 20,000 hour rated life, which means 8 years of use based on 8 hours per day 365 days per year. In addition to the ability to mount it in virtually any position, it is rated for 24/7 use as well.
