ViewSonic’s 3 New Displays Include Digital Signage Players and More

ViewSonic is launching a series of commercial displays with integrated media players, thin industrial design and connectivity options such as HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort.

ViewSonic Corp. is releasing three digital signage displays with built-in media players and an array of features.

The CDM Series will feature 43-, 49- and 55-inch displays, each with a slim industrial design, thin bezels and multiple connectivity options for ease-of-use, according to a ViewSonic press release. 

The ViewSonic CDM4300R (MSRP: $999), CDM4900R($1,299.99), and CDM5500R ($1,699) will be available January 2017.

CDM Series features include:

  • 450 nits of brightness
  • 3H hardness anti-glare IPS panel
  • Slim design
  • Thin 9.6mm bezels
  • Dual-input screen PIP/POP splitting features with video loop-through
  • Can be tiled and daisy-chained for multi-display and video wall configurations in either portrait or landscape orientations
  • Internal media player with a quad core processor with 16GB eMMC storage that is expandable to 32GB with a micro-SD
  • USB multimedia video playback
  • Embedded LAN/Wi-Fi and web browser
  • Comes with content management software
  • Includes an internal Smart Scheduler with seven content storage channels
  • Integrated speaker

ViewSonic CDM Series is targeted at digital signage appliactions.
