A lot of people know Vivitek as a projector manufacturer and it continues to innovate in that space. Recently, however, the company has stepped up with solutions serving the collaboration and BYOD space as well as digital signage.
“We’re not just a projector manufacturer but we’re also a solution provider,” says Peter Taylor, director of demand generation and customer support services, Vivitek.
Building off the momentum of its recently released NovoPRO collaboration solution, Vivitek is using ISE 2016 as a platform for showcasing its NovoDS digital signage solution to the European market, Taylor says.
NovoDS is designed for simplicity, he says, calling it an answer to Vivitek’s perception that most digital signage solutions “are very difficult to use.”
However, Vivitek isn’t walking away from its projector roots. In fact, “We’ll be releasing our first laser projector [at ISE],” Taylor says of the new DU8090Z model. “It will be the brightest in its class of laser projectors [and] fully featured.”
