VuWall Showing Multi-Touch, IP AV and Support Technologies at ISE 2016

Published: 2016-02-11

VuWall Technology is packing a lot into its Integrated Systems Europe booth (4-R54) this week in Amsterdam.

First, the company has formed a partnership with Virtual Sensitive to demonstrate the ability to control multiple video walls from a single multi-users touch table. VuWall has integrated the functionalities of its VuWall2 video wall management software into the Coconote touch table of Virtual Sensitive.

VuWall2 is a software solution for the operation of large-screen and multi-monitor systems. It “provides operators with control over all connected signal sources and offers collaboration, distribution and interaction of information in control rooms and presentation spaces in an efficient way,” according to a VuWall press release. “The system is based on an intuitive user interface, which reduces reaction times and makes the operation of video wall systems more efficient.”

VuWall is also announcing VuWall TRx, its newest software platform, which is “especially designed to allow AV integrators and operators to easily deploy, configure and maintain IP encoding and decoding devices,” according to a company press release.

The TRx software platform “makes it easy to configure, to operate, and to maintain a pool of encoders/decoders on an AV network,” according to VuWall.
‘’We all know that optimizing the time spent on-site is critical for maintaining decent margins on projects,” says Matthew Desrosiers, product manager at VuWall.

TRx is open to multiple hardware platforms. It currently supports the new VuWall VSIP-4K encoders/decoders as well as Matrox Maevex products. Support for additional brands of decoders/encoders is currently in development and the list will continue to grow as manufacturers provide us with their APIs. The product is fully compatible with the VuWall2 range of products.

Finally, VuWall will be presenting its latest version of VuWall2 software that will include features for enhanced collaboration, surfaces management and IP decoding capabilities.

At ISE, VuWall is showing its support for Datapath SQX and the Matrox Mura IPX decoding cards.

“VuWall2 has been designed in anticipation of the availability of high performance IP decoding hardware, so the integration with Datapath SQX and Matrox Mura IPX went seamlessly and VuWall is now able to offer a solution where IP sources and hardware sources can coexist across multiple display surfaces,” says Paul Vander Plaetse, president of VuWall.

Vander Plaetse is excited about VuWall being at ISE in Amsterdam.

“Participating at ISE 2016 is a great way for us to spend time with our customers and partners from around the globe,” he says. “It gives us the opportunity to better understand the trends in the market and respond or anticipate with the technology AV professionals would love to have. We are looking forward to learning how we can help AV professionals in their projects and share our developments roadmap.”
