Digital signage is an important and rapidly growing category for electronics professionals, and one of the leading manufacturers in the category is Videotel Digital.
The Skinny: Adding to its selection of digital signage source solutions, the Chula Vista, Calif.-based manufacturer recently announced its HD2600 industrial DVD player.
The Specs: Videotel says the HD2600 offers users a commercial-grade looping DVD player that can work with TVs or video monitors. According to the California company, the DVD player is engineered to turn on and play automatically, repeat and auto loop without having to manually engage the product.
The player offers many plug-and-play features such as Auto Start, which skips menus and previews without any manual navigation. Videotel says the DVD player is built to play 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Solutions: According to Videotel, the HD2600 can be installed into healthcare, hospitality and other commercial environments that need simple digital signage source solutions.
