Yamaha UC Hosts School Giveaway for ADECIA Ceiling Solution

Published: 2021-03-09

Yamaha Unified Communications is giving away a complete ADECIA Ceiling Solution to a K-12 school or higher education institution, a value of more than $10,000 value.

A comprehensive classroom audio solution that fits both hybrid and remote learning environments, ADECIA includes the multi-beamforming RM-CG ceiling microphone and RM-CR audio processor, as well as Yamaha’s PoE switches and VXL Series line array speakers.

“As hybrid and remote learning become commonplace, it’s essential that educators have the tools they need to support learning equality,” said Michael Fitch, VP of sales and marketing at Yamaha UC. “Audio is paramount to that goal.

“This giveaway is an opportunity for schools to win an audio system that is prized in enterprise but just as critical in education for its clarity, intuitiveness, and ease of installation,” he said.

Schools using ADECIA can enable hybrid classrooms with audio that ensures both in-class and virtual students receive an equal learning experience. Teachers have the flexibility to move freely around the classroom without sacrificing audio pickup.

The system is touchless for added safety protocols, easily managed remotely by AV/IT departments, and even suitable for all modes of learning, including lecture capture and voice-lift applications.

Schools in the United States are eligible and can enter the ADECIA Ceiling Solution giveaway now through March 19.

Qualified for the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, ADECIA enables higher education to overcome implementation, configuration, and room acoustic challenges brought on by the surge in online learning opportunities by providing all the equipment required for a successful installation.

Every component of the system, from the microphones to speakers as well as the required networking and communication equipment, automatically integrates thus reducing time, costs, and installation complexities.

The complete solution immediately detects all components of the system and configures them to be optimized for the room environment, accounting for the location of speakers and microphones, reverberation, and echo behavior.

Setting up a room is done through the system’s configurator in four steps. With USB, Bluetooth, Dante and analog connections, the ADECIA Ceiling Solution system fits a variety of learning spaces.
