KanexPro Joins HDBaseT Alliance

Published: 2014-04-18

With InfoComm 2014 on the horizon, the number of manufacturers connecting themselves with HDBaseT continues to grow.

KanexPro has joined the HDBaseT Alliance as an adopter member. The HDBaseT Alliance is an organization of companies working to promote HDBaseT technology.

HDBaseT is focused on distribution of uncompressed HD multimedia content. That has always been a focus of KanexPro’s, according to marketing chief Kashyap Khetia, who says that prior to joining the HDBaseT Alliance KanexPro was one of the earliest to use Valens chipset based extenders in routing distances up to 100 meters.

“We are tremendously excited to join the HDBaseT Alliance and take part in the comprehensive advances this technology is making in many digital signal distribution display applications,” said Khetia.

“HDBaseT Alliance membership will help safeguard that our future products are well aligned to meet the growing demand for simple yet effective video matrix switchers and extenders that our customers demand.”

“HDBaseT has become a de-facto standard for digital connectivity for the consumer markets and a variety of commercial markets including professional AV and broadcasting,  and a primary driver of that growth is the addition of companies like KanexPro to the HDBaseT Alliance,” said Arial Sobelman, president, HDBaseT Alliance.

HDBaseT will be a focal point for KanexPro during InfoComm 2014 at its booth N1657.
