Awards Program Seeks Security Solution MVP

Commercial Integrator‘s sister publication Security Sales & Integration is launching the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards program with the purpose of illuminating how important products and technologies are to the success of security integration companies.

The first-ever MVP Awards will be bestowed during a special trophy ceremony at ISC West 2015.

Too numerous to list here, awards will be given in subcategories from the following product types: Access Control, Business Operations, Central Station/Monitoring, Fire/Life Safety, Home Controls, Installation Aids, Intrusion Detection, Misc. Security Products, Security Apps and Video Surveillance.

A panel of experienced integrators will judge each entrant based on product design, features and benefits, including the ability of the device to help integrators open up avenues to a potential new customer base, enable integrators to design and install systems faster and thus more profitably, or help integrators gain a profitable margin on the equipment itself.

The deadline for manufacturers to enter the program is March 6. All products must have been released in the last 18 months or in the near future to be considered.

“Security integration is a products-driven business. However, security integrators are bombarded with an ever-increasing array of products all touted as the ‘latest and greatest.’ This has made it exceedingly challenging for integrators to separate the chaff from the wheat and make the best informed purchasing decisions,” says Security Sales & Integration editor-in-chief Scott Goldfine. “To solve this quandary and better serve the channel, SSI has stepped forward to launch the Most Valuable Player Awards.”

Entrants in this new program receive outstanding publicity for their new product including:

  • Company link posted on the Security Sales & Integration website
  • Recognition at ISC West 2015
  • Products printed in Security Sales & Integration magazine

Winning products will be featured featured in the June issue of SSI. Products entered by January 30th qualify for Early Bird pricing ($397 per entry).
