Oakland Raiders: Oakland-Alameda County StadiumThe Raiders have been at “the black hole” since 1966, apart from their brief stint in Los Angeles. The stadium has gone through several name changes since that sponsorship trend started in the 1990s, but we’re pretty sure Chris Berman still likes calling it “the mausoleum,” so nicknamed in the late ’70s when its scoreboard failed and it was a mess of gray concrete. Now it has two “state of the art” scoreboard matrixes … well, state of the art for 1995, when the last renovation was completed. The stadium also loses points for being one of the few remaining football-baseball multitaskers.
