Zoom Video Communications – Version 5.0 

Zoom recently rolled out version 5.0 to provide greater security and privacy. A new security icon gives Zoom administrators and meeting hosts the ability to:

· Unlock/lock meetings

· Enable/disable waiting rooms

· Enable/disable in-meeting chat

· Enable/disable participant renaming

· Enable/disable screen sharing

· Remove a participant

· Report a participant

Zoom version 5.0 also gives hosts the ability to reassign the host role to another participant when the original host is leaving. If a co-host is in the meeting, they will rise to the top of the list and the rest of the participants will appear in alphabetical order. www.zoom.com
