At InfoComm 2016 in Las Vegas, global leaders in HDMI over IP distribution Just Add Power (Booth C7721) will launch a new 2GΩ/3G VGA Transmitter, which allows VGA source devices to be easily integrated into any 2G/2G+ or 3G Ultra HD over IP network of devices.
The addition of the 2GΩ/3G VGA Transmitter means Just Add Power’s HDMI over IP platform can accommodate virtually any size of 4K or 1080p HDMI matrixing application, whilst offering support for video walls, video tiling, 4K scaling and now VGA source device integration too.
The new 2GΩ3G VGA Transmitter can be retrofitted into existing 2G/2G+ or 3G Ultra HD over IP installs, allowing VGA sources to be distributed alongside HDMI source devices, to multiple screens simultaneously- all over a 1 Gb local network and Cat 5e/6 cabling infrastructure. The 2GΩ3G VGA Transmitter can be set to operate in 2G mode for use with 2G/2G+ networks of devices, or in 3G mode for 3G Ultra HD over IP networks of devices. The maximum output resolution of the 2GΩ/3G VGA Transmitter is Full HD 1080p in both modes. A 3.5mm LINE-IN port allows integrators to mix VGA PC source audio with the video stream.
Also on show at InfoComm will be a sneak peek at the next addition to Just Add Power’s award-winning 4K over IP platform: the highly-anticipated 3G+4+ HDMI tiling device with HDCP 2.2 support. This enables four or more 4K / 1080p HDMI source devices to be displayed on a single screen either in 1080p or 4K resolutions in a variety of viewing modes e.g. quad view.
The 3G+4+ tiler is an incredibly flexible device that can be implemented in a variety of residential and commercial applications with multiview requirements, including man caves, sports bars, casino floors, and command centers.
When you install just one 3G+4+ tiler as part of a Just Add Power HDMI matrix made up of third generation (3G Ultra HD over IP) transmitters and receivers, then the tiler can be viewed on any display with a Just Add Power 3G receiver behind it. Because the 3G+4+ HDMI tiler is IP-based like the rest of the Just Add Power product family, you’re not confined to a fixed number of outputs that the tiler can support.
Plus, if your client needs to watch more than four source devices on a single display, simply stack another 3G+4+ tiler to add an extra three source devices as tiles. You can easily select and see which tiled source’s audio is being output by the display at any given time and can also easily change which HDMI source devices are being fed into and distributed by the 3G+4+ tiler. Any source device (HDMI or VGA) with a 3G Ultra HD over IP transmitter connected to it can be viewed individually full screen or can be tiled, giving the end-user more options than ever for how they watch their favorite shows and movies.
There will also be a preview of the Decora-style Wall Plate Transmitter for both 2G and 3G systems. This in-the-wall Transmitter directly fills a common need in the commercial marketplace. Individuals can take their own devices (be they HDMI or VGA based), plug them into a conveniently located Wall Plate Transmitter, and then route that image anywhere over the network of Just Add power devices. The Wall Plate Transmitter can be ordered in a wide variety of custom colors to meet the design requirements of the most demanding commercial installations.
