Audiovisual Consulting Team (AVCT) announced its launch as an independent audiovisual consulting firm based out of New England and New York City. The firm launched on April 15, 2024, with four consultants, engineers and thought leaders that previously worked together at another AV consulting firm. With decades of experience as commercial AV designers, this team says it ready for taking on the AV industry.
Currently, the company works on commercial, biotechnology, sports facilities, health care, higher education, experiential spaces, government, performing art centers, and command and control projects. While AVCT primarily focuses on the northeast and New York City markets, it has many nationwide and international clients and current projects.

Per the company, the team is a dedicated group providing design packages, with a passion to oversee AV installation through project completion. AVCT underscores the care offered to clients by ensuring that the design intent has been implemented correctly, and that the final AV installation operates as intended and meets end-user requirements.
According to the company, each project is unique and deserves a dedicated design package. The company also implements sustainable design best practices into their AV packages to assist their architect partners and end users in meeting their sustainability goals. AVCT also works closely with digital signage content creators and remote management software providers to ensure all pieces of the audiovisual system perform harmoniously.

During Design Development, the company implements Virtual Reality (VR) Collaboration Sessions. During these sessions, the team takes clients through their future space in VR using existing BIM files. Per a statement, AVCT is one of the only consulting firms using this VR technology. The company adds that clients are always amazed at how simple it is to visualize their future space, make quick design decisions and save valuable coordination time.
AVCT is 100% women owned, per a statement. The company remarks it is breaking the mold and providing a pathway for women to obtain C-suite and ownership roles. According to a statement, AVCT is actively applying for WBE Certifications in the New England and NYC areas with potential partners in the government space.
