What is the Sony Crystal LED UNIFY?

The Crystal LED UNIFY (ZRL-135SG) is a 135-inch all-in-one direct view LED display (dvLED), developed by Sony Electronics. The model combines five pre-assembled display units and a control unit into a single package. Sony says it is a ready-to-deploy option that extends its Crystal LED portfolio and complements its BRAVIA professional displays.

What are the key specifications?

The Crystal LED UNIFY features a 1.5mm pixel pitch, Full HD resolution and 800 cd/m² of maximum brightness. The display size is fixed at 135 inches. Anti-Reflection Surface Technology and natural color reproduction support visibility in bright rooms. A surface coating on the LED panel guards against accidental contact in high-traffic areas.

Who is the display built for?

The display targets corporate and higher education spaces, including boardrooms, meeting rooms and community spaces. Sony says the model is a cost-effective entry point for organizations adding a large dvLED. Its design keeps the display less than 100mm, or under 4 inches, from the wall when used with the included brackets, which helps meet Americans with Disabilities Act protrusion requirements.

How is the Crystal LED UNIFY installed?

According to Sony, two people can install the Crystal LED UNIFY in about one hour, with no electrical work required. Installers mount the units on wall brackets, connect them to each other and the control unit, then power the display with a remote control. A slide-out, front-serviceable control unit eases maintenance and reduces downtime.

How does it work with Sony’s existing displays?

The Crystal LED UNIFY uses a familiar interface and remote that match Sony’s pro AV lineup, and it employs Sony’s Device Management Platform, a tool already used with BRAVIA professional displays. The display supports 4K input and a centralized management system. This allows multi-display conference rooms to combine Crystal LED and Pro BRAVIA displays under one control system.

“Sony has a robust ecosystem of display solutions built upon our rich history in imaging and visual technology, and our Crystal LED technology is a key component in our large display solutions lineup and evolution,” says Rich Ventura, vice president of Professional Display Solutions at Sony Electronics. “Expanding our portfolio to include a 135-inch all-in-one model helps us meet customer demand, makes our solutions easier to spec and deploy, and serves as the perfect complement and extension to enhance our existing lineup while adding compatibility and consistency across our integrated pro AV family of solutions.”

When will it be available?

Sony plans to make the Crystal LED UNIFY available in early 2027. The company plans to display the product June 17-19, 2026, at InfoComm in Las Vegas, at booth C8301.
