Sennheiser arrived at InfoComm 2026 with a packed booth and a steady stream of integrators, consultants and dealers walking through all week. In an interview with Commercial Integrator, David Missall, senior advisor, technical application engineering and education at Sennheiser, sits down with Commercial Integrator’s Dan Ferrisi to recap all the company‘s highlights.
What Was the Biggest Sennheiser Announcement at InfoComm 2026?
One of the biggest Sennheiser announcements from the show was the TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus (TCC M Plus), a new ceiling microphone that delivers simplicity of use and clear sound.
A standout feature is PartnerLink. Missall explains that it was developed closely with Q-SYS so that the TCC M Plus can be brought into Q-SYS Designer as a device as if it is a Q-SYS device. No separate API is needed to bring it into the platform. This makes it significantly easier to configure.
“We want to make it a lot easier to bring in our ceiling microphones into these ecosystems, regardless of who you’re using for a DSP,” Missall says.
Sennheiser built an isolated demo room on the InfoComm 2026 show floor because, as Missall notes, the company is an audio company, and the team wanted attendees to hear the demos properly. Inside, Sennheiser demonstrated solutions for small huddle rooms, medium-sized rooms and larger classroom environments, including voice lift and camera tracking triggered by data from the ceiling microphone. The demos ran on Q-SYS, though Missall notes that the solutions work with various platforms.
According to Missall, InfoComm 2026 was about Sennheiser “…having that opportunity to show the proof of concept where, [if] you have an issue, our solutions can solve those problems.” Missall adds that the show offers Sennheiser a platform to say, “This is how we do it.” He adds, “They actually experience it, so they understand the concept.”
