nsign’s digital signage SaaS platform is now officially certified for Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays. The company, based in Barcelona, developed the integration with Sony Professional Displays & Solutions. The certification lets the nsign application run directly on compatible screens and adds remote monitoring and control through Sony hardware.
How Does the Certification Change a Signage Install?
The certification removes the external media player from many installations because the nsign app runs on the display itself. That cuts hardware costs and reduces the number of components an integrator installs and maintains. Fewer devices per screen also means fewer points of failure across a network.
nsign combines on-display playback with remote monitoring and control through Sony’s on-device REST API. Integrators manage content, playlists and schedules centrally in nsign, alongside display control.
How Do Integrators Set Up the Displays?
Integrators set up the displays with a predefined provisioning profile through Sony’s Device Provisioning Tool. The profile installs nsign as the display’s default application and applies the settings needed for remote monitoring and control. Once activated and paired with the platform, the display launches the app automatically at startup.
This approach cuts repetitive manual configuration. It also helps integrators apply a consistent setup across many screens and locations.
