Recently, Emerald (the parent organization of Commercial Integrator) held an informative webinar about Commercial Integrator Expo 2024, also known as CIX. The goal was to give prospective attendees all the critical information they need about the show. Commercial Integrator Expo is, of course, co-located with CEDIA Expo, an annual destination for all things custom home and residential integration.
CIX and CEDIA Expo: Coming to Denver in September
CIX and CEDIA Expo will stage in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center in early September. The conference portion of the show runs Sept. 4 to 6, whereas exhibits will be open Sept. 5 to 7. Those interested in registering can do so via the show’s website.
The 30-minute CIX webinar, available for viewing below, offers a preview of the full conference program that organizers have developed. In particular, the presenters focus on unified communications and collaboration (UC&C)-related tracks, including those on the future of work, home office setup, maximizing collaboration effectiveness and seizing on emerging tools like AI.

IMCCA Brings Unique Education Offerings
During the webinar, Danto goes into detail about the IMCCA’s unique education offerings, highlighting the program he curated. “I always want to put together the kind of show that I would want to attend,” he says.
Danto underscores the quality of speakers/presenters that CIX attracts. “We have some great, great speakers that are going to be here,” he enthuses. “We have industry analysts, other than just myself: We have Kevin Kieller and David Maldow, who runs Let’s Do Video. And we’ve even talked my partner at TalkingPointz, Dave Michels, into coming in and moderating a session for us.”
Among other presenters that Danto and his IMCCA colleagues are bringing to CIX are Amelia Vrabel, Chris Neto, Michelle Loret, Lainie Mataras and many more.
Commercial Integrator Expo, co-located with CEDIA Expo, will be the destination of the season for integration professionals looking for education, networking and innovative technology. And with tentpole companies like Crestron, Lutron and Sony poised to have a large show-floor presence, attendees can look forward to business-boosting product debuts all week long at CIX.
