KGEAR has launched the latest addition to its GH series of loudspeakers, the GH8, which will premiere for the first time at InfoComm in Las Vegas in June. KGEAR, is, of course, part of the K-array ecosystem of brands, which designs and manufactures professional audio solutions for everyday uses.

Building upon the legacy of its predecessor, the GH4, the GH8 includes a dual-cone, 8-inch full-range woofer that produces rich sound quality in a convenient form factor. According to KGEAR, with 129 dB SPL per single box, the GH8 ensures an unmatched audio experience built upon the precision engineering and heritage of the K-array group.

“The GH8 represents a significant leap forward in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge audio solutions,” comments Lorenzo De Poi, brand manager at KGEAR. “With its combination of Pure Array Technology (PAT) and Slim Array Technology (SAT), the GH8 strikes a perfect balance between sleek design and powerful performance.”

One of the standout features of the GH8 is its integration of cardioid technology, which allows for precise sound directionality, minimizing unwanted noise and ensuring a focused audio experience. Whether used as a point-source box or configured into an array of up to eight units, the new GH8 is an ideal choice for a myriad of applications including both fixed installations, such as those in hospitality environments and live events.

“We’re excited about the launch of the GH8 as it completes the GH family, bridging the gap between the versatile and high-popular GH4 and the powerful GH12,” continues De Poi. “The GH8 expands our ecosystem of high-performance point-source solutions, providing customers with even more options.”

With its IP64 outdoor rating, the GH8 is designed for optimal performance in any setting, says KGEAR, Furthermore, with a range of accessories available, the GH8 caters to the diverse and complex needs of systems integrators, from long-term installations to quick set-up and tear-down projects such as those for live events.

The GH8 seamlessly integrates with K-array Kommander amplifiers, offering superior performance and sound quality through preset configurations, increasing the choice of high-performance point-source solutions for immersive and distributed applications, whilst still allowing the possibility to create pure line arrays, says the company.

InfoComm attendees can experience the new GH8 first-hand at a series of audio demos in audio demo room N206 from June 12-14, 2024.
