Blake Vackar, who has held several leadership positions at Screen Innovations and leading brands in the custom home residential technology industry, is now the director of business development at Just Video Walls, essentially switching his expertise from projection technology to microLED.

Vackar’s career has spanned 25 years, including nearly 15 years with Screen Innovations, where he was vice president, director of sales, and brand ambassador spanning two different stints at the projection screen manufacturer. In between those positions at Screen Innovations, Vackar was residential sales manager for Meyer Sound for less than two years.

He has also previously spent time with D-Tools and Dyer Electronics.

In a prepared statement, Vackar says he is transitioning to a technology that he calls “uncompromising” to designers and users.

According to the Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based Just Video Walls, Vackar will be the “video wall concierge” and bring new dealers into the growing category. He will also help with education and assisting with project specs, as well as coordinating engineering and technical resources for dealers.

Skyler Meek, vice president of marketing at Vackar’s new company, says the manufacturer of residential and commercial videowalls isn’t just interested in team members who are “merely transactio oriented,” and the company sought out Vackar due to his genuine interest, support and knowledge of the high-end home technology market.

“More than anything, we know how much dealers enjoy working with him,” Meek says.

According to Just Video Walls, Vackar’s addition reinforces the company’s “not-so-subtle commitment to providing superior service, support, knowledge, and repeatable access to MicroLED to their dealers.”

Vackar and Just Video Walls will be at CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver at booth #3520.
