CEDIA Expo, the platform where residential technology integration, designers and construction professionals connect, learn and engage, announced a host of networking opportunities at CEDIA Expo 2024, from Sept. 4–7, 2024, uniting the brightest minds and most talented professionals in the custom electronics and smart home technology industries.
CEDIA Awards
The CEDIA Awards ceremony, taking place on Friday, Sept. 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.in the Mile High Ballroom of the Colorado Convention Center will honor the most outstanding projects, products and individuals in the smart home technology industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry influencers, discover the latest innovations and celebrate the creativity and technical expertise of the CEDIA community. New for this year, the CEDIA Awards are open to all attendees, making it a must-attend event for anyone passionate about custom installation and technology integration. The ceremony will be followed by a highly anticipated performance by the CE Pro All-Star Band.
CE Pro All-Star Band
Set to kick off on Friday, Sept. 6, immediately following the awards ceremony, the CE Pro All-Star Band will rock out with a 90-minute live music showcase. The band, uniting some of the most talented professionals in the custom electronics industry, will cover an eclectic mix of music from decades past, including hits from Cake, Rick Springfield, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Foo Fighters, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Sam & Dave, Billy Joel and more. As in previous years, the CE Pro All-Star Band concert is interactive, inviting attendees to sing, dance, and even join the band on stage for an unforgettable experience.

Women in Consumer Technology 16th Annual CEDIA Expo Networking Reception & Luncheon
Additionally, the Women in Consumer Technology will host the 16th Annual CEDIA Expo Networking Reception and Luncheon, an empowering event for all industry professionals. The networking reception will begin on Friday, Sept. 6 at 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will feature Sylvia Acevedo, former CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA and author of the bestselling memoir Path to the Stars: My Journey from Girl Scout to Rocket Scientist, as the keynote speaker. Sylvia’s leadership in public service has made a significant impact, particularly her work expanding STEM, outdoors, entrepreneurship and civics programs for Girl Scouts across the country.
Day of Discovery
The Day of Discovery will take place on Thursday, Sept. 5, uniting design-build professionals and residential technology specialists to explore the seamless integration of technology into aesthetically driven spaces. Hosted by Technology Designer, the event aims to bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality, offering keynote sessions on leveraging technology for brand enhancement, well-being, intelligent lighting, and entertainment design. The event also features guided tours of the trade show floor, fostering collaboration and practical learning among attendees.
Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX) Networking Reception
On Thursday, Sept. 5 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX) will host a Networking Reception in the CIX Lounge on the show floor. This social hour will provide a relaxed atmosphere for attendees and exhibitors to network, share insights and discuss the latest trends and technologies shaping the audiovisual industry.
Fiesta Alegría Networking Reception
In addition, the Fiesta Alegría Networking Reception for attendees interested in business opportunities in Latin and South America, organized by AVI Latin America and ConsorcioTec, and sponsored by Crestron, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5 in Room 503 of the Colorado Convention Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a good time with colleagues from the region between music, drink and dance!
CEDIA Expo Registration
