Commercial Integrator, in conjunction with the NSCA, is focused on ways to provide insightful content to members of the commercial AV industry. Recently, our teams created a survey focusing on some of the most topical issues in the commercial AV world. We ask that you take our survey to help your fellow integrators, consultants and technology solution providers better understand the state of the AV industry today.
Nowadays, labor-related issues are a hot topic in the integration community. Our survey touches on the hardest types of roles to fill and the most in-demand skills needed for AV technicians working in 2024. For example, we ask about your staff’s level of training and readiness to tackle IT installations. Moreover, we ask about what is the biggest challenge in filling open positions? Is it because candidates’ salary demands are escalating or is it a lack of qualified candidates? Let us know in the survey!
What’s more, we inquire about how survey respondents expect their revenue to trend in 2025. Specifically, we ask about how integrators’ projected full-year revenue for 2024 compares to their actual full-year 2023 revenue? We ask about installation growth in the following categories: AVoIP, digital signage, DVLED, MNEC, phone systems/cell signal boosters, physical/electronic security, projection, sound reinforcement, UC&C and video surveillance.
This Year’s State of the Industry Survey Examines Commercial AV Opportunity Areas
Another big goal for Commercial Integrator’s and NSCA’s survey is to examine key opportunity areas in the AV integration channel. We’re curious the reasons that integrators should be optimistic about their prospects in 2025? What technology trend, vertical market development, industry factor, etc., presents the greatest opportunity for integrators to succeed and thrive? We hope, with this survey, to understand the ripest opportunity for integration businesses to succeed and thrive heading into 2025.
Completing this State of the Industry survey will take 10 minutes or less, and your voice will help the integration community understand the key issues of the day. Please lend your voice and help Commercial Integrator and NSCA shine a light on the developments that affect your integration business!
