Read on to discover what Watchfire’s key message at InfoComm 2026 will be, as well as to learn details about Watchfire’s indoor lineup, which has been gaining lots of attention. Plus, we dive into the technical differentiators that make Watchfire’s new 4mm outdoor display so dazzling.

Commercial Integrator: InfoComm is one of the most influential trade shows in the AV industry. What does Watchfire’s presence signify this year? What message are you aiming to communicate to the market?

Kyle Dines: InfoComm has always been about credibility, and our presence this year signals our continued commitment to serving the indoor AV market, not as a newcomer, but as a proven manufacturer bringing a disciplined approach. Our reputation was built by delivering products that perform reliably in some of the most demanding outdoor environments, and that same mindset carries into everything we do.

The message is straightforward: Watchfire designs LED displays to be dependable first. Whether indoor or outdoor, we focus on long‑term performance, serviceability, and real‑world reliability. At InfoComm, we’re showing the market that our indoor solutions are built with the same accountability our customers have trusted for decades.

Commercial Integrator: Watchfire’s indoor lineup has gained momentum lately, as your updated S and X-Series products are making an impact in demanding environments such as airports, financial lobbies, corporate headquarters, and sports venues. The addition of your APX product, designed to stand out while remaining price competitive, complements these offerings. How do these products meet the needs of your entire indoor client base?

Kyle Dines: Our indoor lineup is intentionally structured to cover a broad range of applications without forcing customers into compromises. The S and X‑Series are designed for environments where performance, image quality, and reliability are non‑negotiable. Places like airports, financial institutions, corporate spaces, and sports venues where uptime matters, and expectations are high.

APX complements those products by offering a visually strong, reliable solution that stays competitive on price while maintaining Watchfire build standards. That gives customers an option when budget sensitivity is part of the decision without stepping away from quality or long‑term support.

Together, the lineup allows us to meet customers where they are, whether they are prioritizing premium performance, value, or something in between, all backed by consistent engineering, manufacturing discipline, and service support.

Commercial Integrator: Let’s discuss the new 4mm outdoor display you’re featuring at InfoComm. What motivated its development, which environments and applications is it engineered for, and what has the early response been?

Kyle Dines: The motivation behind the 4mm outdoor product was simple: customers want higher‑resolution outdoor displays for close-up viewing environments without sacrificing durability or reliability.

It’s designed for applications such as closely viewed roadside displays, stadium concourses, entry plazas, mixed‑use developments, and other pedestrian‑heavy areas where viewers are closer to the display but environmental exposure remains a factor. We applied the same outdoor‑first design philosophy we use across the rest of our outdoor resolutions, rather than adapting an indoor product for outdoor use.

Early response has been very positive, with customers appreciating the disciplined approach and the product’s long-term reliability.

Commercial Integrator: Watchfire has built a strong reputation in outdoor signage, with over 90 years in the industry and more than 70,000 displays in use nationwide. These displays need to perform flawlessly in some of the most challenging conditions. How are you applying that same dedication to quality, reliability, and performance to the indoor market? And what does this heritage signify to a client contemplating an indoor installation?

Kyle Dines: Designing products for outdoor environments, where they are exposed to heat, cold, moisture, wind, and constant operation, demands a certain level of discipline. That discipline carries directly into our indoor products. From component selection and thermal management to manufacturing processes and testing, we don’t relax standards just because a display moves indoors.

For customers, our heritage matters because it represents accountability over time. LED installations are expected to last a decade or more, and clients want confidence that their display will remain supported for years to come. Watchfire’s history, scale, and the number of installed displays give customers assurances that go well beyond the specification sheet.

Commercial Integrator: Watchfire has seen notable growth and innovation, unveiling new indoor solutions, launching a new outdoor product, and boosting its show presence. What comes next for Watchfire, and what should the industry anticipate?

Kyle Dines: What comes next is focused growth driven by customer needs. That means continuing to improve our indoor solutions, expanding our outdoor lineup where it adds real value, and investing in the systems and support that ensure long‑term reliability and service.

The industry should expect consistency from Watchfire. We’ll keep delivering dependable solutions, standing behind what we install, and supporting integrators, dealers, and customers long after the project is complete. That approach has worked for decades, and it remains our top priority.
