When an LED panel fails on tour, what matters is how fast you can get it fixed and back in the rig. Until now, support for every U.S. tour running ROE Visual product went through Los Angeles, no matter where the show was playing.

That changes with a new ROE Visual facility in Nashville. The LED display manufacturer, which builds products for live events, broadcast, virtual production and fixed installation, will celebrate with a grand opening open house on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Key Things to Know

  • A second U.S. hub: Nashville joins Los Angeles as a full support location for ROE Visual customers nationwide.
  • On-site services: The Nashville team handles repair, quality control and shipping, and the facility holds LED product stock.
  • Training comes east: ROE Academy, the company’s training program, will run in Nashville, mirroring the Los Angeles offering.
  • Open house on Oct. 28: Guests can tour the facility, see touring, rental and fixed installation products and get a first look at a new feature for one of ROE Visual’s rental products.

Why Did ROE Visual Choose Nashville?

ROE Visual chose Nashville because the city has become a leading center for music and touring, and many of the company’s key partners are based there. The location also puts ROE Visual within reach of the East Coast, a region where it plans to keep building its presence.

Managing Director Frank Montero sees Nashville as the next center of gravity for the touring business. “Nashville is the next major hub for music and touring, and our Los Angeles team has done a great job supporting tours across the country,” he says. “A second hub lets us do even more.”

What Services Does the Nashville Facility Provide?

The Nashville facility provides on-site repair, quality control and shipping, along with a stock of LED products. For rental companies and production partners, that means equipment gets serviced closer to where it’s working instead of going back to the West Coast.

The stock matters just as much as the repair bench. More inventory on hand gives ROE Visual room to support customers as tours ramp up and project schedules tighten.

With the expansion, ROE Visual says it now operates the largest LED repair and service footprint in the U.S. for the rental and touring market.

Does the Nashville Hub Replace Los Angeles?

No. The Nashville hub adds capacity, and Los Angeles keeps its role. Montero is clear that neither site serves a single region; both serve every customer.

He ties the expansion directly to support speed. “Support is incredibly important to us, and having another location for repair, plus another demo room where customers can see our products in person, makes us faster and more accessible,” Montero says. “Neither location is limited to one region. Having two simply increases what we can do for every customer.”

Will ROE Academy Training Be Available in Nashville?

Yes. The Nashville space will host ROE Academy, the same training program ROE Visual offers at its Los Angeles office.

For technicians and crews in the region, that means a closer place to get hands-on experience with ROE products. Training near home costs less time and travel, and it reduces the setup and service mistakes that slow a load-in.

What Products Will Be on Display at the Open House?

The demo room will feature ROE Visual’s touring and rental lineup: Vanish Air Outdoor, Vanish 8 Touring, Vanish Solid Touring, Graphite and Topaz. From the fixed installation portfolio, Coral and Vanish Acoustics will appear in an immersive demonstration.

Guests can also tour the full facility. If you spec LED for both rental and permanent installs, it’s a chance to compare both product families in one room.

What New Feature Will ROE Visual Debut?

ROE Visual will debut a new feature for one of its most successful rental products at the open house. The company says the addition responds directly to customer requests.

Full details will come at the event. ROE Visual hasn’t named the product or the feature ahead of the reveal.

What Networking Opportunities Does the Open House Offer?

The open house is built for conversation. Attendees can meet the Nashville team and members of ROE Visual’s broader U.S. team, talk through current and upcoming projects and network over food and drinks.

Montero says the goal is to show the regional community that local support is real, while welcoming visitors from farther away. “Our biggest hope is that the Nashville touring and rental community comes out to meet the team and sees that ROE Visual is here to support the region,” he says. “If customers from out of state can join us too, that’s a huge bonus. We’re excited to open the doors and welcome everyone to the new space.”

What Does the Nashville Expansion Mean for Integrators?

The expansion shortens the distance between a failed panel and a working one. For integrators and rental partners east of the Rockies, local repair, local stock and local training cut the turnaround that used to depend on a cross-country shipment.

That’s worth factoring into your support planning now. If you run ROE product on tours or in fixed installs, the Oct. 28 open house is the place to meet the people who will handle your repairs and ask how the Nashville hub fits your project schedules.
