Earlier today, Sandi Stambaugh of TD SYNNEX shared news that she will transition into a new role within the organization. In a letter written to vendor partners and friends, Stambaugh wrote that, after nearly two decades of collaboration and shared success in the Visual Solutions space, she will now serve as senior vice president of sales operations and customer experience. The move is effective this month. Stambaugh had been serving the company as senior vice president, vendor business management (Visual).

For Stambaugh, the new role lies within TD SYNNEX’s U.S. Sales organization. “I will lead our efforts to drive best-in-class sales support and service, while delivering industry-leading coworker and customer experience,” she wrote.

Stambaugh confirmed that TD SYNNEX will keep its current Visual Solutions and UC team intact. That includes Rob Powell, Jenn Ryerson, Casey Gary and their respective teams leading vendor management and business development. Meanwhile, she wrote, Tommy Plumer, Graham Kelly and Ben Gary will continue to lead the organization’s AV and UC Sales teams.

According to Stambaugh, “Executive leadership of the vendor management team that I support today will transition to George Lutkitz, senior vice president, vendor management, and Desiree Cruz, vice president, vendor management.” Both of these individuals, she wrote, are longtime members of the TD SYNNEX vendor management team. Moreover, she attested to their expertise, passion and commitment to continuing strong partnerships and support for vendor partners.

As trade show season commences with CES, NRF and ISE in the coming few months, industry stakeholders will begin seeing this team increasingly involved.

Meanwhile, Stambaugh, a well-known industry fixture, affirmed that she’s in it for the long haul. “I am not going anywhere,” she wrote. “This business is important to me and to TD SYNNEX. To ensure a seamless transition, I will remain actively involved, supporting our partners and our internal teams during this period.”

Stambaugh closed her letter with a note of strong optimism about TD SYNNEX and its future. “I look forward to seeing the continued momentum we’ll achieve together with this new structure and increased focus on driving the best possible customer experience,” she enthused.
