InfoComm 2016 Must See: Prysm Visual Workplace Solution and Prysm Mobile

Published: 2016-05-31

At this year’s InfoComm show, Prysm will show off its Prysm Visual Workplace solution, aimed at improving enterprise collaboration and employee engagement, at booth #N305.

Paige O’Neill, CMO of Prysm, took the time to talk to CI about what the company has planned for integrators visiting its booth at InfoComm 2016, June 8-10 in Las Vegas.

If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2016 booth, what should it be?

In today’s new office structure where half or more company employees may work in different office locations, collaboration is key.

However, according to a yet to be published Forrester Research survey, only one-quarter of workers feel their company’s tools allow for effective collaboration and less than that (24 percent) think their offices utilize the latest technology and workspaces.

Prysm is making sure that enterprises and their employees, no matter the location or device, have the tools that optimize collaboration efficiency.

At InfoComm this year, we are showcasing our Prysm Visual Workplace solution which improves enterprise collaboration and employee engagement. It digitizes the collaboration process and pulls tools and content– including video, web apps, documents and images –together into one highly visual system.

This leads to the creation of a rich palette for data visualization that speeds insights, ushering in an entirely new approach to collaboration. With Prysm’s Visual Workplace, enterprises can discover new insights that they would not otherwise have found.

Ok….What if we have time to see one more thing?

One of the most innovative features of Prysm Visual Workplace is Prysm Mobile, which we are also showcasing at InfoComm.

Prysm Mobile extends Prysm Visual Workplace to any mobile device to improve collaboration throughout the enterprise. It bridges the gap between remote and in-office employees by providing mobile access to cloud-based workspaces where everyone can create, edit and share content in real time.

Prysm Mobile’s powerful web-based platform provides a rich collaboration experience that engages teams, spurs creativity and increases productivity in the workplace.

Prysm Mobile was designed on the foundation that being able to collaborate with colleagues either within an organization or externally should be a seamless experience for the user. Forget meeting invites, links, and access codes.

By delivering this solution via a "zero-download" web browser based application, which harnesses the latest HTML5 capabilities, users can access a visual workspace anytime, anywhere, no download necessary.

This especially important for the enterprise since downloading any kind of plug-in or software is typically met with IT security restrictions that prohibit a user from downloading or accessing certain files, damaging the user experience.

With Prysm Mobile’s web browser-based access, users are provided easy entry to the platform without having to go through any IT hurdles, providing increased productivity for the user, and an experience they want to come back to over and over again.

What’s one last impression you’d like us to take away from your InfoComm 2016 booth?

How we think of work and an office environment is changing, especially as new generations, such as millennials, are entering the workplace. People are not only working from the office but from numerous remote locations and because of that, enterprises need to make sure that efficient collaboration can happen no matter the location or device.

Digital workplace strategies are being implemented around the global and at Prysm we offer solutions that enable organizations to easily enter this next era of the workplace.

In addition to our booth demos, we will also be holding thought leadership sessions on best practices for building digital workplaces.

Sessions include:

Wednesday, June 8
10:30 am– Digital, Disparate, and Disengaged – Realities of the workplace and what to do about it

Wednesday, June 8
2:00 pm– From Collaboration to Innovation: Strategies for Moving your Company to a Visual Workplace

Thursday, June 9
11:00 am– Using the Employee Experience to Improve the Customer Experience: Proving the ROI
