IC Realtime Integrates with Paxton Software, Enters Access Control Market

IC Realtime has long been in the business of video surveillance, recently adding Internet of Things capabilities to its video solutions. Its offerings include a wide variety of analog and IP surveillance cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors and apps.

Today, the company announced its entire line of surveillance cameras and recorders now fully integrate with Paxton’s Net2 Software platform, allowing “one-click” viewing of entry-point video surveillance.

Paxton is a manufacturer of electronic IP access control and door entry equipment. Its Net2 Software is a user-friendly networked access control system that is managed from a central PC computer. The software is offered in a variety of IP, battery powered, wireless and wired door controllers.

“In today’s fast-paced world, quick and easy navigation has become a universal expectation. Our product development team worked closely with Paxton’s to ensure complete native integration with their platform,” says IC Realtime CEO Matt Sailor.

When used with an IC Realtime cameras, the Net2 Software platform provides “one-click” navigation to camera footage associated with a door-event, according to IC Realtime’s announcement.

Net2’s Camera Integration feature allows the user to view up to four camera feeds from a specific door within the Net2 Software platform. The integration capability is built directly into the Net2 software, which is available as a free download.
