Earlier this year, Billboard reported Metallica’s 2017 Hardwired 2017 was the year’s biggest tour with more than a half million people seeing the band over a 10-date run. Delivering the massive bottom end, the Hall of Fame band is known for during these shows was Meyer Sound’s new VLFC low-frequency enclosure.
Aiding the band on performances of classics like One, the VLFC was integral to James, Kirk, Lars and Robert’s live low-end chug, which is essential to Metallica’s sound.
