Casio is celebrating 10 years of its LED laser light source “LampFree” technology, now in its eighth generation. The new Superior Series models add red to the phosphor color wheel to make it ‘R-Hybrid’ LED laser light, and features 4,000 lumens, 1.7x zoom plus a 16-watt speaker. The Superior Series, along with the legacy Advanced and UST Series have Casio’s new solutions package integrated into the projectors, ideal for the education market. “Basically you can hook up with Wi-Fi and from your device you’re able to manage what’s being shown on the screen. The really cool thing about it is you can show up to four different devices at one time and there will be one moderator that you set up, and they can choose what’s being shown,” explains marketing communications coordinator Alli Colasacco, adding that a moderator can choose from many more connected devices than the up to four that get displayed.
