Platinum Tools EXO Termination Kits

The company has been making things “EZ” for dealing with field termination of RJ45 and other wiring for a while, and this latest kit gives integrators everything they need to prep and terminate cable in one bundle. Within the kit, along with its various connectors, is Platinum’s new EXO Crimp Frame and interchangeable EXO-EX and EZ-RJ45 dies to conveniently accommodate multiple size connections. “Everything we have from cutting to stripping, terminating and testing is what we address,” says John Phillips, product manager. “The nice thing about this new tool is that we designed it where we can do different die sets for it. We might need to come up with other [cable types] to use it for, and we can just create the die for it and one frame does everything.”
