Although Southtown Audio Video has become known largely for its work in residential AV, Heather hopes to continue expanding the company she bought from her father in 2014 after working there for 12 years on the commercial side through its SAV Pro division.

The early returns have been impressive as CI chose Southtown among its 2015 Industry Leaders in higher education and restaurant/bars verticals. The company has also done impressive work in courthouses, churches and other markets as business has grown 20 percent in the past three years, largely under Heather’s leadership.

That doesn’t mean Heather is abandoning the residential side of the business that her father established, though. She’s a CEDIA Membership Chairman and a past judge for the CEDIA Lifestyle Awards. She blogs about residential installations and has served as a #CEDIATweep in recent years.
