Designed for permanent installations, the FL283 is a subcardioid line array module that features a pair of 8-inch horn-loaded woofers and a trio of 1.4-inch compression drivers. Fulcrum Acoustic explains the FL283’s enclosure is shaped to accommodate as much as 20 degrees of splay between adjacent enclosures to enable integrators to set up sharply curved array systems. The company also points out the FL283 is a passive, full-range product that carries a 16-ohm rating, and it allows a single amplifier channel to power as many as eight modules.
