RTSales, Inc., the manufacturer’s rep firm serving the professional AV industry, announced the promotion of Jennifer Tunks from sales director to vice president, effective immediately.
Per the company, this milestone marks a significant moment in its history, coming exactly 20 years after Bert Tunks assumed the role of president from their father, who founded RTSales in 1979. With over four decades of service to the AV community, RTSales says it continues the legacy of excellence and innovation through strong leadership and dedication to the industry.
Per the statement, Tunks began her journey with RTSales in 2010. She has been a driving force within the organization ever since, says RTSales. According to the company, Tunks’ leadership, client-centered approach and passion for the industry have not only strengthened the company’s reputation but also inspired a culture of growth and innovation.
According to the statement, Tunks has earned numerous accolades including CTS of the Year in 2021, recognition in SCN’s The Nine in 2022 and a spot in Commercial Integrator’s 2022 “40 Under 40” class. Beyond her professional achievements, she has made meaningful contributions through years of volunteer work with AVIXA councils, advocating for mentorship, diversity and continued education within the AV community, states the company.
“Jennifer was literally raised in our office and has far exceeded any hopes or wishes we’ve had for her professional development in this industry” says Bert Tunks, president of RTSales. “She has aggressively attacked every opportunity and every obstacle in front of her and her commitment to furthering the women in AV initiative has been impressive to witness. Her vision and drive are instrumental as we look toward the future of RTSales. As vice president, Jennifer will continue to lead strategic initiatives, foster client relationships and further expand the company’s presence in the Southeast region.”
