MSE Audio SoundTube IPD-Hub 2 Amplifier
MSE brand SoundTube was highlighting this audio tool, in which it employs Dante and also teamed with Attero Tech for a solution that it says is ideal for small- to medium-sized applications like in bars, restaurants, hospitality, education and more. The IPD-Hub 2 combines Attero Tech Axiom endpoints with Dante infrastructure, two-channel DSP amplification, myriad power options and connectivity including two RJ45, one Dante and one Axiom input plus two-channel speaker output. MSE Audio’s Ken Hecht is excited about the possibilities as well as simplified approach, for example, using SoundTube’s remote volume control and switching plus Attero Tech mic/line inputs, USB, Bluetooth inputs and more. “You daisy-chain whatever you need to use. With most DSP systems the DSP’s on the front end that controls the whole system, before you get to the amplifier; with this type of system it’s kind of a paradigm shift – we’re doing everything in the amplifier,” Hecht explains. “So you’re setting up your zones by amplifiers. You have up to eight zones you can set up, you can have as many amps as you want in a zone, and when you create a zone and you put two amps in a zone they sync together, so all the control is synced in that zone through the amplifiers.”
