InFocus moved to acquire Jupiter Systems, and now the biggest project ahead of the two companies will be to incorporate the InFocus MondoPad and Jupiter’s Canvas CRS-4K.

In other news, AV Month has officially begun. October marks a month-long initiative that helps to promote and educate people about the AV industry. So far this year, Middle Atlantic appears to be at the forefront. But where is InfoComm?

Lastly, check out our take on Dell’s acquisition of data storage company EMC for $67 billion. It’s perhaps the biggest tech deal ever, and a big win for Dell, which has been trying to transition from a company that sells PCs to a company that can help businesses with IT needs.
