ZeeVee executive Bob Michaels and Steve Metzger recently took strong stances, proclaiming that AV-over-IP is the best video distribution path forward in a “post matrix-switching era” during a CI webcast. Their company is putting its money where its mouth is at InfoComm 2017 where ZeeVee is showing ZeeVee ZyPerUHD, the latest in its ZyPer IP-based distribution platform delivering 4K, compressed video over standard 1G switch.

ZeeVee will unveil the ZyPerUHD, its newest video distribution platform that delivers ultra-low latency, compressed video with up to Ultra-HD/4K resolution using an off-the-shelf 1Gb Ethernet switch.
[related]ZyPerUHD offers HDMI input with HDMI loop-out, balanced audio input/output ports for managing audio in boardrooms and presentation halls. USB connectivity for integration with touch panels and KVM as well as IR and RS-232 for integrating third party control systems. ZyPerUHD is compatible with ZeeVee’s MaestroZ Management Platform making configuration simple and rapid.
