The Marietta, Ga.-based manufacturer DVIGear specializes in signal management and connectivity solutions.
The Skinny: The latest product from the Georgia company is its DVI-3571a Universal Presentation Switcher/Scaler.
The Specs: The new switcher/scaler is engineered to handle a variety of video formats and resolutions in a variety of system settings.
DVIGear states the DVI-3571a includes three HDMI or DVI inputs, three RGB analog (VGA) inputs, one component video input and one composite video input. The company points out that a selected signal is routed simultaneously to two HDMI outputs and a RGB analog (VGA) output for downstream display and/or processing. Dealers can also configure the output resolution through the switcher/scaler’s scaling engines that offer choices up to 1080p and 1920×1200.
In addition, the DVI-3571a also incorporates HDMI audio embedding and deembedding, lip sync correction up to 150ms, and control capabilities with the choice of Ethernet, RS-232, IR and the switcher/scaler’s front panel interface.
Solutions: DVIGear says dealers can install the DVI-3571a in systems ranging from classrooms and auditoriums, to conference rooms and training facilities.
