In the last couple of weeks, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has literally flooded our social media pages, news feeds, and most recently, the one place we thought we were safe: the AV industry.
Really, it’s a good thing. The challenge has raised more than $100 million for the ALS Association and brought awareness and understanding of this debilitating disease. We are proud to be a part of such a great cause.
We’ve talked about Crestron’s Jeff Singer soaking himself apparently with a remote controlled bucket, AVI-SPL CEO John Zettel getting iced by his colleagues, and our own Ray Lyons and Craig MacCormack of Commercial Integrator stepping up to the challenge as well.
Then many more ice bucket challenge videos started pouring in (these puns just won’t stop). So here’s a roundup of manufacturers, integrators, and executives you all know and love accepting the challenge on behalf of their companies, and in some cases along with their entire staff. Congrats to the industry on stepping up to this charitable cause! And let the soaking begin!
