Published: June 2, 2017

It’s fair to assume that there will be about 40,000 people roaming the trade show floor at InfoComm 2017, which takes place June 14-16. Each of those attendees has a different role in the AV integration industry and each will take a unique approach to their experience at the trade show in Orlando, Fla.

There are, of course, folks who work for integration firms. These range from executives to project managers to marketing professionals to system designers to programmers and technicians.

There are attendees who work for specifying consultant firms, again ranging across various roles.

There are manufacturers, architects, designers and a slew of technology decision-making professionals, i.e. end users, who may or may not walk the floor with a trusted integrator or consultant.

One thing they all have in common is that they’ve invested something to attend InfoComm, even if it’s simply time spent away from their businesses. Most attendees enter with a game plan to maximize their return on investment.

The goal is to return from InfoComm with an arsenal of knowledge, including new products, new education, new certification credits and new strategies.
