Data Security a Hot Topic in AV & IT

Electrosonic points out that information security is a high priority for many companies and organizations.

According to Electrosonic, some of the reasons for the increased emphasis on data security include business globalization, government directives, regulatory requirements, terrorist activities and other general cyber threats.

“Having our latest practices validated by a third-party auditor certainly assures our customer base, which includes global corporate organizations, with some of the most demanding security requirements in the world, that we have the controls in place to protect them at all levels,” comments Rob Webb, quality, health & safety & environment manager, Electrosonic.

In addition to its ISO 27001 certification, which it received this past July, Electrosonic is also certified to these ISO standards: Environmental Management System BS EN ISO14001, Quality Management System and Occupational BS EN ISO9001, Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001.
