Electrosonic, the Orlando, Fla.-based experiential technology company, appointed Michelle Byrne as the new chief people officer. In her role, Byrne will oversee all aspects of people management including talent acquisition, development and retention.
Byrne comes with over 15-plus years of experience in human resources and leadership positions within technology companies, says Electrosonic. She thus has the qualifications to lead the people operations and help continue the growth trajectory driving employee engagement across the Group.
In her new position, Byrne will lead human resources, internal communications, employee engagement and safety. She will also look after all aspects of the Electrosonic Group people agenda. This includes attracting, engaging and retaining talent. Thus, Byrne will help accelerate Electrosonic’s position as a technology professional services enterprise.
President and managing director of Electrosonic, Ewan Smith, says, “We’re thrilled to have Michelle lead our people and culture team at Electrosonic as chief people officer. She’s an inspired choice who has grown her responsibilities internally, demonstrating leadership skills along the way. And she’ll help us gain a significant competitive advantage.”
“I am incredibly excited to further expand my responsibilities at Electrosonic and continue the focus on cultivating an amazing employee experience,” adds Byrne. She continues, “…I can’t wait to enhance the passion and culture of Electrosonic in my new role as CPO. It’s going be an honor working alongside everyone here who shares our values.”
