Published: 2014-06-04

Increasingly, more manufacturers are adopting the Dante Media Networking Protocol.

The Skinny: Joining this growing list of manufacturers is the Webster, N.Y.-based company Ashly Audio.

The Specs: Recently Ashly announced that it is shipping the “Dante digital media networking solution” with all of its nXe, nXp, Pema and NE series networkable amplifiers.

In addition, the company points out that its NE Series rack-mount systems processors (4400, 4800 and 8800) are also available with Dante options, and according to Ashly, the product line offers dealers a choice of low latency, robust and scalable solutions that are simple to install because of their use of IT technologies.

“We’re now ready to supply our market with this incredible audio networking technology in our nXe and nXp amplifiers,” says Anthony Errigo, director of communications, Ashly Audio. “Dante currently brings the best in flexible, yet robust digital audio transport and we’re poised to build on its success by delivering this connectivity in our most premier amplifiers and processors. Our customers will benefit greatly by this advancement.”

Solutions: Dante-based solutions, including the new products from Ashly, can be deployed in installations that include hotels, transportation centers, shopping centers, live sound reinforcement, athletic venues, corporate boardrooms, broadcast facilities, recording studios, government buildings, houses of worships, and as public address systems.
