The MXL Zoom Room Speaker System was recently displayed at the Zoomtopia Show in San Jose, Calif. and feature’s Zoom audio tracking software that helps the system integrate with certain Zoom-certified cameras to create integrated AV conferencing solutions.

MXL Zoom Room Speaker Employs AC-44 USB Microphones
According to MXL, its latest product solution incorporates three of its AC-44 miniature USB microphones that provide users with a small-footprint microphone that are designed to deliver high levels of clarity and a wide pickup arc.
MXL explains the trio of AC-44 miniature USB microphones setup in a left, center and right configuration and they track to wherever each speaker is located.

The system’s integrated camera is setup to focus on each speaker’s location based on the audio signals to create a realistic conferencing experience for users.
MXL points out the use of its Zoom Rooms Speaker Switch System facilitates the use of Zoom’s internal processing software to track where the speaker’s voice is coming from.
The software communicates this information to the integrated camera to provide users a smooth and synchronous automatic panning that is said to provide a noticeable improvement on the Zoom Room Conferencing experience.
The audio company adds the system also includes a four-port USB extension hub to aid the setup and configuration process of the system.
