Modus VR Adds 20+ Crestron Products To Library

Virtual reality software provider Modus VR has added more than 20 popular Crestron products to the Modus VR library as an initial offering, with solutions spanning the enterprise, unified communications and residential market.

The Modus VR platform is designed to allow integrators to pretest physical equipment and furniture configurations and demonstrate room layouts in true scale.

According to the company, Crestron dealers have been asking for solutions through the Modus VR application, and now users can see actual Crestron product specifications such as occupancy sensor projection patterns, so they will quickly know whether a solution is right for their needs.

Ken Brueck, founder of Modus VR, said in a statement that Crestron products are used by the majority of both enterprise and residential Modus VR customers and is one of the most requested brands to add to the company’s AV and tech library.

According to Modus VR, subscriptions include unlimited use, training and support for the entire suite of Modus products, and every license includes frequent updates.

The software also includes a suite of design tools, including remote design sessions without VR equipment, Modus Docs to generate professional line drawings, Modus Photo for rendering and Modus 360 for online viewing of 3D spaces anywhere in the world, the company says.
