The Atlona AT-HDVS-210U-TX-WP HDMI/USB-C wall plate switcher and HDBaseT transmitter is now shipping.
According to Atlona, the AT-HDVS-210U-TX-WP HDMI/USB-C wall plate switcher and HDBaseT transmitter is one of the commercial market’s first HDBaseT-compatible switcher/transmitters with direct USB-C input support.

New Wall Plate Switcher Supports 4K
Through its inclusion of an HDMI port and a USB-C port, the HDVS-210U-TW-WP wall plate switcher provides professional integrators with a 2×1 switching product that eliminates the need for USB adapters, which are easy to forget and lose.
Other features built into the HDVS-210U-TX-WP include the ability to support the transmission of 4K Ultra HD at 60Hz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling distances up to 330 feet (100 meters) when using Cat-6a/Cat-7 cables. [related]
Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE) to streamline the connection process, and the product provides control for functions such as display power, source selection and audio volume via RS-232.
Atlona also points out that its AT-HDVS-210U-TX-WP Wall Plate Switcher and HDBaseT Transmitter also offers businesses and property owners a small-footprint, one-gang, Decora-style device that integrates into a variety of interior spaces.
The AT-HDVS-210U-TX-WP Wall Plate Switcher and HDBaseT Transmitter is one of three products within Atlona’s HDVS-200 series.
The line also includes AT-HDVS-210H-TX-WP that features two HDMI inputs, and the AT-HDVS-200-TX-WP that features and HDMI input with an analog VGA interface.
