Telemedicine was a new concept when Ezequiel Sandoval first connected with the sales team at Solutionz in his role as IT director for the Open Door Community Health Clinic in 2003 or 2004.

Solutionz helped Sandoval and his team navigate the complicated new offering and the grants associated with it to build a robust offering that was revolutionary at the time. Since then, Sandoval has stayed close with Solutionz as he started his own company.

As CEO of Infinite Consulting Services, Sandoval again called on Solutionz to help the Central Valley Health Network in Sacramento, Calif., connect 13 member organizations through a videoconferencing system that ensures everyone has the same information.

“They’re a great partner who’s always there for you,” Sandoval says. “They’re always going that extra mile and making sure we’re happy, not just from the sales side. They built a relationship.

“They made it sound like they were going to take care of us and they certainly did. Their expertise on how to set up [a telemedicine solution] allowed us to create an entire facility,” he says.

“When it comes down to selecting a vendor, you want someone who you have confidence in and who’s going to be there when you call,” says Sandoval. “They always know how to appropriately design the system for the needs we have.”

Solutionz’s grant-writing team helped Sandoval figure out the best aid packages for his telemedicine and videoconferencing needs on more than one occasion, he says.

“It would have been impossible for us to grow our telemedicine solution as quickly as we did without those grants,” says Sandoval.

“They were able to educate you on the requirements of the grants and how to be more successful in writing them to be able to create the systems and solutions you need,” he says.

“It would have been impossible for us to grow our telemedicine solution as quickly as we did without those grants,” says Sandoval.

Solutionz helps customers connect video equipment with room management and connect that to audio conferencing systems and cloud services, then provides service and support when something goes wrong, he says.

Having the videoconferencing system in place allows Central Valley Health Network members to save money and time on flights or drives to a central location and adds a layer of accountability because everyone can see if you’re not paying attention.

“It leads to better quality of life and more engagement,” says Sandoval.
