AVAD Kicks Off 2015 Vendopalooza Training Tour

AVAD’s Vendopalooza dealer training tour features manufacturers such as Samsung, Niles, Sharp, Gefen, and JVC.

AVAD announced its annual Vendopalooza 2015 national training tour.

The Los Angeles-based company says the exclusive touring trade show for custom installers will include a dozen events throughout the year, beginning with its first stop at its Irvine, Calif. branch on Jan. 22.

Following the kickoff in Irvine, AVAD Vendopalooza will visit integrators in San Jose, Houston, New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Scottsdale and Los Angeles in 2015.

This year marks the seventh year of Vendopalooza, which premiered in 2008 as a series of one-day events designed to bring together AVAD’s dealer solutions and the combined resources of some of the industry’s leading manufacturers.

“AVAD Vendopalooza has become its own phenomenon. Distributor shows were somewhat common when we got started, but being the first one to take it on the road has been a huge success,” says Lei Lei Trock, senior marketing manager of AVAD.

“We have held 96 events in the last six years, which has enabled us to shake hands with over 10,000 dealers over that time period as they were introduced to the value of Vendopalooza,” says Trock. “It’s not just about aggregating the products, it’s also about aggregating training and information.”

The list of benefits and training opportunities has grown over the years, adding to the 10 brands that have been recurring participants in the event every year since its introduction: Boston Acoustics, Denon, Gefen, JVC, Marantz, Niles, Peerless, Polk, Samsung and Sharp. The 2015 tour will include more than 40 featured manufacturers offering dealers more face-to-face access.

All events will include live demonstrations of new technology directly from the product experts, exclusive promotions discounting select products from major brands as well as valuable prize giveaways.
