Integrators, manufacturers and others in the industry continue to celebrate AV Month, with Applied Global Technologies getting into the mix again with something everyone in the space loves—swag, this time in the form of an AV Month T-shirt for its employees and those who finish a client satisfaction survey.
In addition to sending the survey to clients and others in the industry, AGT is once again supporting the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, which benefits those who need help seeing and hearing. Applied Global teamed up with the foundation during AV Month in 2014 and donated a free cloud video conferencing account to them this year to enhance their efforts.
Applied Global is joined by, among many others, Middle Atlantic and AV Nation in its efforts for AV Month.
The survey will help AGT “gain insight on how end users are utilizing their AV environments and what their goals are for 2016,” officials say. “We always strive to offer our customers the best service and solutions in the market, and listening to our customers is an important part of our approach.”

Although InfoComm isn’t hosting any formal AV Month events this year as they attempt to “reimagine” how to handle the celebration in 2016, AV Social hosts Dawn Meade and Kelly Perkins talked about various ways to educate others about the industry and talked about why that doesn’t need to be restricted to one month per year.
