Published: 2015-12-07

Room acoustics issues are an easy topic in the process of room design to overlook. Often times in the world of consumer audio, for example, audiophiles will typically spend large sums of money on amps, speakers, source components and cables, while completely ignoring the most important component in an audio system: the room.

There are also problems in commercial environments, including recording studios, bars, restaurants, performance halls and many other venues, that people often don’t even realize have acoustic issues.

Since the late 1970s the Indianapolis-based manufacturer Auralex has been helping commercial and residential dealers eliminate the issues that plague installed sound systems. The Midwestern company has announced that it is shipping its newest SonoLite products.
