D-Tools, a manufacturer of system integration software, has announced the call for entries for its annual contest, the D-Tools Design Awards. Showcasing the best project designs and greatest success stories that demonstrate platform proficiency and the positive effects it has had on both workflow and ROI, the winners will be announced at CEDIA Expo 2015 on Oct. 16.

Contest categories include Best Residential, Best Commercial, Most Unique and Best Overall. Entries will be judged on a number of criteria, including project originality and overall system design as well as demonstrated proficiency with the D-Tools’ software platform and the depth of its use in the project submitted.

Both the D-Tools product team and select D-Tools Certified Partners will select winners. The deadline for submitting projects is Sept. 18, 2015. D-Tools customers can submit their entries online at D-Tools Design Awards or by sending an email to Josh Carlson.

Adam Stone, president of D-Tools, explains the program provides participants the opportunity to bolster their businesses with more than just awards.

“Not only do the D-Tools Design Awards provide D-Tools users an opportunity to demonstrate their system design and documentation prowess, it also provides them countless opportunities to help promote their businesses,” he says. “The annual D-Tools Design Awards bring together some of the most distinguished residential and commercial system integrators worldwide and showcases their work from the design foundation to the completed project, providing both a birds-eye view and a deep dive into technology trends and transformations.”

Awards winners will receive prizes supplied by D-Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) partner contest sponsors. The ceremony announcing the winners will take place in its CEDIA Expo booth (#2801) on Friday, Oct. 16, with a celebratory reception to follow.
