DSE 2016 Once Again Sets All-Time Records for Attendance and Exhibit Space

Of the record-breaking 4,100 attendees at DSE 2016, 45 percent were end users, an increase of 7 percent compared to last year’s show.

Digital Signage Expo is the largest international trade show of its kind, and it looks like it will be keeping those bragging rights for a while. 

Just as it did last year, the educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks set all-time records in attendance and exhibit space at this year’s show in Las Vegas.

Held on March 15-18, the conference and trade show surpassed last year’s attendance record with more than 4,100 attendees from 69 countries worldwide, which also set a new record. Perhaps most important, however, is the amount of end users who attended DSE 2016. Of the verified attendees, 45 percent were end users, an increase of 7 percent in DSE’s primary target audience compared to 2015.

More than ever before, these end user attendees represented large and well-known companies such as, Anheuser-Busch, Capital One, Chevron, Facebook, Honda, JPMorganChase, Kimberly Clark, McDonald’s, Nike, Porsche, Quick Trip, Syracuse University, The Walt Disney Company and The U.S. Air Force Academy, to name a few.

To continue to add to the record books, this year’s exhibit hall also set a new record of over 84,000 net square feet. Of the over 200 exhibitors, 45 were exhibiting for the first time.

“The big takeaway from DSE 2016 was that attendees were highly qualified,” says Andrea Varrone, DSE’s show director. “We worked extremely hard to bring notable brands to the show floor by expanding the breadth and depth of our digital marketing program, increasing the event’s social media reach and leveraging the talents of our attendee relationship team. The investment paid off. DSE continues to be the only venue for connecting with end users who are knowledgeable about our industry and ready to make purchasing decisions.”
